WHAT TO EXPECT?

"The Return of The Haunting at The Kingsgate" is a dark scare maze covering over 9000 square feet. The haunted walk thru attraction features live actors, jump scares, costumes, spooky sets, a dark maze and provides Halloween fun for all ages. You can go around the maze as many times as you like! 

All guests must sign a waiver to enter the property and enter at ones own risk. 

We have genuinely haunted artefacts on display in the lobby as well as movie props in the waiting area.

This year guests will walk thru a giant book of spells into a deep dark labyrinth filled with ghouls and creatures of the night. Meet the killer clowns. Walk thru the Victorian cemetery. You might even meet some classic monsters like The Phantom of The Opera, Zombies and The Mummy before continuing on into the spook house.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS

October 26th 1PM Join us for a Trick or Treat Fancy Dress Kids Disco. A fun filled hour of party games in the graveyard.

October 31th 3PM: "Behind the Screams Tour". Join us for a lights on tour explaining the building and effects used in the haunt. We also give guests a close up look at the costumes, makeps and rare artefacts from the museum archive.

OUR HISTORY

How it all started….

Many moons ago we were asked by Lauriston Castle to co-produce a Halloween Seance event and the rest is history!

The show became a phenomenon and toured many amazing venues including a sell out run at the iconic Carnegie Hall. We then got a name in the industry for producing top notch Halloween events.

We created "The Horror Magic Makeup Show" and even produced "The Rockin Horror Tribute Show" a tribute to Richard O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show".

Our producer has an impressive background in Special Effects, Costumes, Production and Magic. Having worked on notable productions thruout the world 

In 2021, we co-produced (with Edinburgh Zoo) a family friendly haunted attraction “Spooktacular”, we provided all the ghouls/performers and costumes with other suppliers creating a spectacular light show. The event was such a hit they reprised the production in 2022. This was again a huge success. Many adventure parks and visitor attractions followed and we supplied scare actors, production services and fabulous costumes for the events.

We devised costumes for some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry.

Our team decided to produce a much more intense adult haunted maze  for the 2023 season. We declined all offers to produce kids Halloween attractions and decided to produce “The Haunting at the Kingsgate” an American style walk thru dark maze Haunted House Attraction.

The production featured more live actors than any other haunt in Scotland.

2024 The Kingsgate Shopping Centre requested we grow upon last years fun and provide a similar attraction with a larger maze and improved sets, better costumes and more jump scares than ever before. You can now go around the maze as many times as you like.

THE LIAM MUSEUM

Our owner collects and saves artefacts relating to the history of horror and entertainment. He will often arrange displays of his iconic movie and stage props/costumes in the lobby of our attractions to raise funds for good causes.
